YOUR MONEY, YOUR LIFE
Think about this:
Chelsea Financial Services was created to reach a population often overlooked by the financial planning industry: professionals within the creative community. This group is likely to best respond to a no-pressure, client-paced approach to financial planning.
The monthly fee for a health club membership in the City typically is more than $100. Are you one of the many young professionals who pay that fee to be PHYSICALLY fit? If so, wouldn't you pay a similar amount to be FINANCIALLY fit?
Brian has more than a decade of experience within the financial services industry. To Chelsea Financial Services he brings financial planning and investment management experience with a foundation in securities regulation.
Prior to launching Chelsea Financial Services, Brian was Senior Financial Planner with The Ayco Company L.P., a Goldman Sachs Company, where he provided comprehensive financial counseling to high-net-worth senior executives of major corporations.
Previously, Brian was Senior Portfolio Administrator at The Money Growth Institute. He also worked as an Examiner within the Special Investigations Division of the National Association of Securities Dealers. NASD is the private-sector regulatory body of the U.S. securities industry.
Brian received his Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a major in finance from The University of Arizona. He has a Certificate in Financial Planning from New York University. He also is Series 7 and Series 63 licensed (but not currently active) and is preparing for the CFP® Exam to earn designation as a Certified Financial Planner™ by the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards Inc.
Plenty of financial planning firms cater to high-net-worth individuals because that is who can afford to pay hefty advisor fees. In my experience, non-affluent individuals could benefit most from planning, and yet they're the group least likely to seek a professional advisor.
My vision for Chelsea Financial Services is to eliminate a very common obstacle to seeking financial planning help: the notion that it's not affordable.
If your short- or long-term financial goals seem unattainable at your present rate of spending, you're a good candidate for financial planning. I encourage you to take the step toward becoming financially fit. Can you afford not to?"
