Does CFS work with groups?
Yes. If you are interested in forming your own group for learning
financial planning basics, individual topics or comprehensive planning— let us know and we'll assist you in organizing and scheduling the group.
Does CFS do legal work, such as creating wills and
trusts for clients?
No. We are familiar with highly qualified local attorneys specializing in estate planning so when our clients require legal services, we refer them to these attorneys. We also make referrals to tax- planning experts when the situation calls for it.

What is fee-based financial planning?
Fee-based planners earn their money directly from the client for services rendered, keeping only the clients' interests in mind. Commission-based financial planners, on the other hand, earn their money in commissions from selling certain products to clients. Thus they have a financial incentive to promote those particular products, as opposed to recommending other, noncommissioned products that may be more appropriate to the client.
Can I be a CFS client if I'm not working in the fashion
or entertainment industry?
Absolutely! Our clients come from all walks of life and from widely diverse income levels. Some are financial planning beginners; others are more advanced. The one common denominator is that they all have an interest in getting a handle on their finances.
